I've been having headaches, lately. They're apparently pretty common as a pregnancy symptom, but that doesn't make them any more fun. They seem to go away with tylenol, but I really don't want to take it if I can avoid it, so mostly I'm just living with them. I'm hoping this is just a phase!
In news entirely unrelated to the baby, we finally saw Avatar yesterday (in 2D). I think we might have been the last people in the country to do so. It was fun, though we felt as if the real Pandorans might be a little offended if they saw the movie. WE won't mention it to them. Randy said he felt like it was a corporate cultural sensitivity training video designed by someone whose knowledge of other cultures came from Epcot Center. He's funny, my Randy.
Oh the bella bands, aren't they wonderful!? Try the BellyBelt, it's great too. It allows you to extend the distance between your pant button and button hole. It won't be long before none of your pants fit without these lovely contraptions. Sorry to hear about the headaches!
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing a bella band right now in an effort to extend my wardrobe beyond the two remaining fitting pants that I wore monday and tuesday, but the effort is failing - it keeps riding up, especially in the back! And to think that these pants fit just last week!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I cannot believe how long your hair is! I haven't seen you pull it back since we first met in 2002 - I like it! Do you think you'll grow it out through the birth, sorta like how women like to grow their hair out for weddings? :)
And I hear you on the headaches...I suspect mine are congestion related, since their throbbing varies by position. Tylenol barely cuts it for me, and I'm perfectly willing to take it!
Hey there! You sure do have a whole slew of folks close to you who are pg too! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe books I got are:
In the Womb: Witness the Journey from Conception to Birth through Astonishing 3D Images by Tallack. (This is the book version of the NOVA TV special.)
Your Developing Baby, Conception to Birth: Witnessing the Miraculous 9-Month Journey by Doubilet
A Child is Born by Nilsson
From Conception to Birth: A Life Unfolds by Tsiaris
(I tried to hotlink to the books on Amazon but your comment section won't let me x/p for some reason?)
