Waddling!

Well, I've started to waddle.  OK, maybe not exactly waddle, but this extra weight is definitely changing my gait.  I noticed it today when Randy and I took a long walk (yay for the lovely weather!).  Note the weight for last week, which I finally posted.  That was Sunday morning after my Saturday graduation party that my dear friends Keri and Melissa threw.  It was great, and the food was outstanding, and I ate a LOT.  I still weighed 151.5 on Saturday morning, but weighed 154 on Sunday morning after the party!  And now I'm up to 156!  Official week 22 weight will be taken tomorrow, so we'll see.  I hope it will slow down a bit again.

My brother and sister-in-law came for the party with my niece and nephew and brought the contents of their garage (so my SIL reported; she said if I'm feeling crowded with all this stuff that I'm welcome to come dance around in their newly spacious garage).  We now have TONS of baby and maternity clothes, a baby gate, a jogging stroller, a changing table, a big kid car seat and an electric breast pump.  And some toys.  Most of it is still in the living room because I don't have anywhere to put it.  Ack!  We have big purging plans for mid-April after the big lawsuit.  Trial starts 3/29!  Double ack!

Sorry about the lack of photo.  I thought we had left the camera at the party last weekend, but then Randy told me today that it was in the car, so we COULD have taken one, but I didn't know.  We'll do one tomorrow.

In non-me news (phew!), my cousin's wife Holly had her baby!  His name is Maxwell Cole, and he looks EXACTLY like my cousin.  It's amazing that a newborn can look so much like a 30-something male, but it's true.  So I've given Max a new baby ticker, and I'm adding tickers for two other friends because they're both so obviously pregnant now that everyone knows.  In addition to cousins Holly and Erin (one of the other tickers that's been up for a while), I have THREE friends who are pregnant, all within 6 weeks of each other!  And we're all having girls!  Quite astounding, I think.  We got some good photos of the four of us at my party, so I'll try to post one or two when I get them (I wasn't the photographer).

The baby's kicking right now.  She must want to say hi to everyone.  Hi!!!

P.S. I decided to add a ticker for myself below my three friends, since we all line up so nicely.  As I was designing it, Randy looked over my shoulder and asked if there was an option with fire and explosions and laser beams.  I didn't actually look.

  1. Oh the weight gain, mine is really creeping up too! But these babes are so worth it! I'm hoping breastfeeding will help take this back off. I hope, hope, hope!!!
