I just commented to Randy, "check it out darling, we called it right!" about a decision to ______ (feed, change diaper, burp, carry around, entertain) Charlotte (it doesn't really matter which one; suffice it to say that whatever the right thing is, we usually get it wrong), to which Randy replied, "or she's just decided that we're hopeless and is just pretending that we're doing a good job because that's what causes her the least amount of stress".
