Well, the beta hcg level is finally in! It was 125, which is a fine number for 14dpo*, but was a little lower than I was expecting given how long I've been able to see a line on my cheapie tests. I'll be repeating the test on Tuesday (standard procedure) to make sure it keeps increasing at the appropriate rate. (Thanks go to my friend Kim (see ticker in the right column) for having exactly the same experience a few weeks ago, i.e., early HPT+ and then a fine hcg level, but a bit lower than we were expecting; everything continues to look great for her, which is reassuring me greatly. :) ) So next step is the u/s, which can be any day 12/2 through 12/8. I'll have to do it over the weekend due to new job. So I guess it'll be Saturday, 12/5. I'll also have to get E2 and P4 levels every week until the u/s, after which they start weaning me off the meds. I thought I was going to keep taking them longer than that, but maybe not? NOT would be great!
