Blog fog

OK, I gotta quit playing with this blog.  It's addictive.  The good news is that I figured out how to post stuff in the white space on the left, thanks to helpful forum posts and Blogger's good forum search algorithm (apparently, as I found what I wanted on the first try!).  And then I had to cut and paste html code, so I feel like I (almost) actually did something vaguely technically savvy!  But I didn't, really.  But anyway it works (look, there's stuff on the left!).
